AFL Queensland Schools Cup – State Preliminary Finals and State Grand Finals

13 – 15 October

The AFL Queensland Schools Cup (AFLQSCup) is AFL Queensland’s premier schools’ competition. The state-wide inter-school competition is open to public, private and independent schools across six competitive divisions: Primary Male, Primary Female, Junior Male, Junior Female, Senior Male and Senior Female. The AFLQSCup is a free competition for schools and provides equitable pathways for male and female students. The competition is resourced and administered by AFL Queensland. Schools begin the competition in localised gala days in either the South East Queensland or North Queensland Conferences, with Regional Champions progressing into the knockout State Qualifying Finals. The competition culminates in the AFLQSCup State Preliminary and Grand Finals on the Sunshine Coast, with 24 teams in attendance. The six North Queensland champions are flown down for an all expenses paid weekend on the Sunshine Coast including a day of sightseeing. Six State Champions are crowned on Sunday, 15 October.
